Alessia Giorgiutti

Alessia is a communications and social media specialist with a background in International Relations, Diplomacy, and Media Production, and professional experience in Italy, Finland, the UK, and the US. Based in Brussels, she is Communications and Membership Lead at POLIS, where she manages a team of five, oversees strategic communications, and supports EU-funded projects such as Horizon Europe and Interreg.

She is editor-in-chief of Cities in Motion magazine and co-coordinator of the Just Transition Taskforce, promoting inclusive and accessible urban mobility. Alessia has led communications for several EU projects, including e-smartec, ReVeAL, and iDREAMS, and previously ran social media for the EU Eastern Partnership. A strong advocate for intersectional, engaging communication, she creates content that both informs and inspires. She is fluent in English and Italian, and speaks French, German, and Spanish.
