- April 2024Transport Research Arena 2024
In 2024, Transport Research Arena (TRA) will take place in Dublin, Ireland from Monday 15 to Thursday 18 April. The theme for TRA 2024 is “Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility”.
- April 2024Road Safety Conference 2024
The 2024 Road Safety Conference takes place in Dublin, Ireland on 16 April, as a side-event of Transport Research Arena (TRA). The conference is an opportunity to engage with EU Member State authorities and all stakeholders on the progress being made with implementing the Safe System approach and with achieving the goal of halving road deaths by 2030.
- April 2024Connecting Europe Days 2024
The Connecting Europe Days 2024 will be the place to discuss concrete measures and exchange good practices on creating a sustainable, smart and resilient, transport and mobility network in Europe. The event is being organised together with the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU in Brussels, Belgium.
- December 2023EU Transport Day at COP28
From 30 November to 12 December 2023, the world came together for the next round of climate negotiations at COP28 in Dubai, UAE. In the margins of the conference, the EU organised several side events, including an ‘EU Transport Day’ on 6 December, with panels discussing the role and contribution of transport in fighting climate change at global level.

The Urban Mobility Days brought together key stakeholders to discuss the path forward for a sustainable, innovative, and equitable future for Europe’s urban mobility. The 2023 edition was organised together with the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The European Commission and Ministry of Civil Aviation of India jointly organised an EU-India Aviation Summit on 20-21 April 2023 in Delhi, India.
- November 2022EU Drone Days
The EU Drone Days took place from 29-30 November in Brussels, Belgium, in cooperation with SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking. On the agenda: the Commission’s Drone Strategy 2.0, and an exhibition of the latest industry innovations in urban air mobility and SESAR 2020 U-space projects.

As part of the European Year of Youth, Commissioner Vălean invited young transport professionals from all over Europe to share their views in a youth dialogue on jobs in transport - from train drivers to air traffic controllers.
