Managing and maintaining the European Rail Facilities Portal
Ex-ante publication for low-value contract between EUR 15.000 and EUR 60.000
The Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission is planning to award a single contract for the management and maintenance of the European Rail Facilities Portal for a period of up to 5 months. The Portal is based on a geographic information system (GIS) and provides the descriptions of rail service facilities (e.g. passenger train stations, intermodal terminals, shunting yards, etc.). Maintenance and management include hosting the Portal (including the database), administration of the Portal (e.g. day-to-day operational activities such as ensuring the Portal is accessible, registering new users, checking user registration forms for obvious errors), setting up and providing support (e.g. by identifying and fixing software bugs that prevent the Portal from providing services), handling queries from users, preparing the next development phase of the Portal by collecting feedback and change requests.
