Description

Study to gather data from operators and to analyse the impact of applying cabotage rules

Ex-ante publication for low-value contract between EUR 15.000 and EUR 60.000

The Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission is planning to award a contract for a study to gather data from operators and analyse whether the application of cabotage rules (as agreed in the political agreement between the European Parliament and the Council of European Union on 11-12/12/19 on amendment of Regulation 1072/2009/EU) to combined transport road legs (as defined in Directive 92/106/EEC) is likely to lead to change in the sector’s business models. The study should also analyse to what extent the rules will have an impact on combined transport and on road and non-road vehicle kilometers in EU, and the likely economic and social impacts for the sector.

Deadline for expressing interest to submit a tender: 5 March 2020, 17:00 CET
