Conference on "Railway Safety: the way forward"

The conference sets out to:
- List the measures in place concerning safety checks of rail transport, to evaluate their efficiency and the level of application, and clarify the division of responsibilities;
- Discuss the opportunity and possibility of speeding up the development of new control measures of which the principle has already been halted or is being developed at European level;
- Identify any further initiatives needed.
