The EU Air Safety List – 10 years and Beyond

In the Aviation Strategy for Europe as adopted in December 2015, the Commission announced that it will evaluate whether the Air Safety List Regulation (EC) No 2111/2005 is still fit for purpose. This Evaluation of Regulation (EC) No 2111/2005 and the associated implementing regulations is ongoing, and examines how the Regulation's key objectives have been met, where there is room for improvement and how the Union could in the future contribute further to the safety of aviation outside of the Union, including through information to the travelling public worldwide. This Conference will serve as an important input to this Evaluation.
