Description
High Level Conference
Implementing Single European Sky: the way forward
Budapest, Hungary
3-4 March 2011
The Hungarian Presidency of the European Union and the European Commission organise on 3 and 4 March 2011 a High Level Conference on the Implementing of the Single European Sky in Budapest.
The year 2010 has been a key milestone for the implementation of the Single European Sky with the adoption of a wide range of measures designed to improve efficiency in Air Traffic Management in Europe. After the Declaration of Madrid, we believe that the time has come to evaluate the progress made and to discuss the challenges that still lie ahead for a successful implementation of SES II.
During the conference, topics such as the new approach towards an integrated ATM Regulation, the FABs and the network management functions, will be covered as well as the Pan-European objective of the Single Sky.
