International Ship Autonomy and Sustainability Summit

The third International Ship Autonomy and Sustainability Summit will take place on 5 April 2022 in Oslo, during Nor-Shipping 2022. Organised by the Norwegian Forum for Autonomous Ships (NFAS) in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Transport and Mobility (DG MOVE) and Nor-Shipping, the conference brings together authorities, industry representatives, and researchers from across the globe working with autonomous and smart ships. The Summit will address the theme - Autonomous ships enabling new, smart, and sustainable business models. Four high level panels will discuss the implications that the emerging technologies and policies have on the deployment of autonomous ships and, in turn, what this means for maritime transport and mobility systems.

Magda Kopczynska, Director for Waterborne, DG MOVE, will be among the keynote speakers.

The Summit will be a physical event without COVID-19 restrictions. Virtual attendance is also available, as will be recordings. For more information and full programme , see here.

The International Ship Autonomy and Sustainability Summit is the leading international conference for decision and strategy makers within the area of autonomous ships.
