Strategic Transport Technology Plan Stakeholders Conference

The European Commission is inviting stakeholders to attend a conference on the Strategic Transport Technology Plan (STTP) in Brussels on 24 May. They will be asked to comment on the input and information that has already been collected. The discussions from the conference will be used to further develop the Strategic Transport Technology Plan, in a consultation process that includes the initial stakeholder hearings held in February and March 2011 as well as the internet consultation currently taking place.
Topics to be discussed
The conference agenda will include the following topics:
- Consultation results
- Technology state-of-the-art and prospects
- Transport research and innovation capacities in Europe
- Research and innovation topics and initial roadmaps
Who can attend?
All interested stakeholders are welcome to participate. Please note that the capacity of the venue limits attendance to 250 participants, and that registrations will be accepted on a "first come first served" basis.
Conference information
The language of the conference will be English.
A preliminary program and information on the conference will be posted on this website, which will be regularly updated. The final programme will be distributed at the event.
Participation to the conference is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs will be at the participants' expense.
Registration
Registration is mandatory. The deadline for registration is 18 May 2011.
