Sebastian Ebel has served as Chief Executive Officer of TUI Group since 1 October 2022, having previously been Chief Financial Officer from 2021.
From 2014 to 2020, he was a member of the TUI Executive Board responsible for Destination Experiences, Hotels & Resorts, and Cruises, including TUI Cruises, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and RIU.
Prior to the merger of TUI AG and TUI Travel PLC in 2014, he was Chief Operating Officer and played a key role in bringing the two companies together. Ebel returned to TUI in 2013 - having previously served as a divisional board member (1998–2003) and Executive Board member (2001–2006) - after holding senior leadership roles at A.T.U. and Vodafone Germany between 2008 and 2013.
He began his career in tourism at Hapag-Lloyd Touristik. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is the father of five children.
