Suzanna Chiu is the Head of Amadeus Ventures, the start up investment program of Amadeus IT Group. Since its launch in 2014, Amadeus Ventures has focused on identifying early stage start-ups at the intersection of travel and technology.
The program not only provides funding but also gives entrepreneurs access to customers, global reach, and deep industry expertise. Under Suzanna’s leadership, the program has grown from its infancy into an integral part of the business.
She has overseen more than 20 strategic investments and facilitates over 50 collaboration discussions across business units each year, fostering alliances with innovative young companies shaping the future of travel. Before joining Amadeus, Suzanna worked in investment banking in London and Hong Kong, specializing in the Telecom, Media, Entertainment, and Technology sectors.
She also worked at Accenture, supporting clients with their IT strategy. Suzanna holds an MBA from London Business School, enjoys good food, and loves music.
