1st Transport Cybersecurity Conference: Raising the bar by working together

With the transport sector becoming increasingly digitalised, cybersecurity has turned into one of today’s main challenges for transport regulators and stakeholders alike.

This is why the European Commission, together with the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), and the EU Agency for Railways (ERA) jointly hosted the 1st Transport Cybersecurity Conference in Lisbon today.

The conference brought together national authorities and stakeholders representing all transport modes to discuss the EU legal framework for cybersecurity as well as options for further sectorial collaboration.

Participants notably agreed on the need to exchange information and share best practices in order to enhance cyber-resilience in the transport sector.
