To complement the current memberships of the Commission expert group on the Human Dimension of the Single European Sky, the European Commission has launched a call for applications for new members. The Commission encourages diverse applications as due consideration will be given to diversity in terms of geographical representation, know how, areas of interest, as well as gender balance in the group.
The Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport opens the call for applications without a deadline and evaluates the applications on a rolling basis. However, the deadline to apply for the first round of evaluation is by 15 August 2025 at 12:00.
The Human Dimension of the Single European Sky is an expert group of the European Commission set up by Commission Decision (EU) 2023/21091. This group brings together relevant public and private stakeholders to provide advice to the Commission on technical and operational aspects on the implementation of the Single European Sky (SES2+), notably regarding its ‘human dimension’. In this context, the SES2+ human dimension refers to the technical and operational changes to working practices and procedures impacting individuals and groups in the implementation of the Single European Sky.
