Call for applications for experts in performance and economic regulation of air navigation services

The European Commission is looking for experts to become new members of the Performance Review Body (PRB) for air navigation services as of June 2019. The PRB assists the Commission in the performance and economic regulation of monopoly air navigation service providers in the European Union, Switzerland and Norway.

The mandate of the current PRB members will expire in May 2019, and according to Decision No 2016/2296, no more than two thirds of the members can be renewed at the same time. The Commission is therefore calling for additional applications to select new members as of 2019. Applicants are expected to have appropriate competence and high-level professional experience in areas relevant to the key performance areas, in particular on cost efficiency and capacity, and be able carry out independently the tasks assigned to the PRB. Members of the PRB will be remunerated for their work under individual contracts.

Interested individuals are invited to consult the call for applications for the selection of experts for the PRB and submit their application by 30 April 2019.
