Continuously open call for applications for the selection of member organisations of the Stakeholders Advisory Group on Maritime Security

In September 2006, the European Commission's Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (’DG MOVE’) set up an informal expert group entitled ‘Stakeholders Advisory Group on Maritime Security’ to advise the Commission on maritime security matters. The purpose of the group is to gather advice and expertise from stakeholders in relation to the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives and the implementation of existing maritime transport security legislation.

The Commission is calling for applications with a view to renewing the membership of the group by selecting members other than Member States' authorities. Stakeholder organisations which are currently members of the group are invited to express interest to have their membership in the group renewed.

This call is an open call with no deadline. DG MOVE shall assess applications on a rolling basis.

A first round of evaluations will be organised in May 2023. In order to be considered in the first round of evaluations, applicants must send duly signed applications by 5 May 2023, 12:00 (noon) at the latest.
