Kasia Wągrowska
Kasia is passionate about promoting eco-friendly ways of getting around town. With her platform Ograniczam Się and her social media presence, she’s bringing that low-emissions lifestyle to thousands. And she’s not stopping with greener transportation: she’s reminding all of us about the value of consuming more consciously and participating in community-driven environmental action!
Kasia enjoyed a scenic trip by rail from Poznan to Warsaw to Vilnius, but one that will look very different in a couple of years. With the implementation of Rail Baltica as part of the North Sea Baltic Corridor on the trans-European transport network, existing rail travel gaps between the Baltic States and other EU Member States will be removed and what was once the single daily train Kasia took from Warsaw to Vilnius will be soon replaced by multiple high-speed connections.

Fresh off her ride from Warsaw to Vilnius, Kasia walked the corridors of the 2025 Urban Mobility Days.
There, she was able to watch urban mobility experts and stakeholders from across Europe discuss the future of urban cycling, including firsthand insights on a progress report on the EU Declaration on Cycling.

While the future of urban mobility was being discussed at the conference, Kasia was able to get a glimpse of Vilnius’ present! Here she is at the Adama Mickiewicza plaza.

Kasia also interviewed Magda Kopczyńska, the Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport to better understand transport poverty and learn what Europe is doing to help its most vulnerable get where they need to go.
Want to hear what they discussed? Stay tuned for Kasia’s podcast to find out.
