The International Transport Forum (ITF) published a report entitled "Charges for the use of rail infrastructure - current status and developments since 2004" in late 2008. The ITF is an inter-governmental body within the OECD family. Its objective is to serve political leaders and a larger public in developing a better understanding of the role of transport in economic growth and the role of transport policy.
