The perceived satisfaction of public spaces.
Parameter
This indicator has been designed to analyse results from the European Commission's Urban Audit, a perception survey on quality of life in European cities which is being conducted by Eurostat based on telephone interviews on a regular basis (more information: https://ec.europa.eu/regional_policy/en/policy/themes/urban-development/audit).
The parameter is an averaged score of survey responses about a respondent's perception of satisfaction of green and non-green public spaces.

* The column “Costs” provides a qualitative assessment of the budget (staff costs, time, costs for data acquisition, etc.) needed by a city/ urban area for gathering new quantitative data in absence of already available values. For each parameter, the assessment takes into account both the administrative costs and the costs related to searching, acquisition and processing of the needed data; these can be high (“H”), medium (“M”) or low (“L”), or a combination of a pair of them.
