The Renewable and Low-Carbon Fuels Industrial (RLCF) Alliance (RLCF Alliance) invites project promoters to apply for the RLCF Label, a recognition designed to highlight credible and mature projects producing renewable and low-carbon fuels for aviation and maritime transport.
The label aims to strengthen the Alliance's project pipeline by identifying projects that demonstrate significant EU value and are progressing towards investment decisions and commercial deployment.
Projects are assessed against a framework developed by the Alliance's Task Force on Labelling (TF-Labelling) and approved by the Steering Group. Every four months, the TF-Labelling and DG MOVE review applications and recommend eligible projects for final approval.
Receiving the RLCF Label increases a project's visibility and recognition among investors, public authorities and potential offtakers. It can also facilitate access to technical support, including assistance from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
