Responsibilities
Alexandra is an urban researcher and socio-spatial data analyst at LSE Cities, applying a transdisciplinary approach to examine how urbanisation influences cities and everyday life. Her work focuses on socio-spatial inequalities in areas such as health, mobility, urban form, placemaking, and sensory environments, using mixed methods supported by GIS and visual tools.
She has led international research projects across Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, and creates engaging outputs like the #Kuwaitscapes game and photography exhibitions to involve local communities. Alexandra also teaches at UCL and LSE, mentoring students in both theoretical and studio-based work. With a growing interest in AI and emerging technologies, she is keen to explore their role in solving urban challenges and improving city living.
