In 2025, the European Commission launched the strategic dialogue on the future of the European automotive industry - an inclusive, collaborative initiative aimed at addressing the sector’s key challenges. Building on this dialogue, the Commission presented an action plan, outlining concrete measures to strengthen the industry’s competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation, ensuring a resilient and future-proof European automotive sector.
