In response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the EU stands in solidarity with Ukraine. The EU is acting swiftly and decisively to put an end to Russia’s aggression by imposing wide-ranging sanctions and measures. In parallel, it is supporting the Ukrainian people by providing financial, military and humanitarian assistance. This page collects information on transport measures.

From bringing transport emissions down to fully exploiting digital technologies for greater efficiency, safety and convenience; showing solidarity with Ukraine; supporting the EU’s transport sector as it recovered from the impacts of COVID-19; and creating the very best conditions for Europe’s travelling public and transport workers – find out all about the highlights from the last 4.5 years.

Between 6–9 June 2024, millions of Europeans will help shape the future of European democracy by taking part in the European elections. This is a special moment for EU citizens, who get to collectively decide on the future of the European Union. Don’t forget to #UseYourVote!
