Call for applications for the selection of members of the European ITS Advisory Group

The European ITS Advisory Group is an expert group of the European Commission set up by Commission Decision 2011/C 135/03. The European ITS Advisory Group, composed of high level representatives from relevant ITS service providers, associations of users, transport and facilities operators, manufacturing industry, social partners, professional associations, local authorities and other relevant fora, should advise the European Commission on business and technical aspects of the deployment and use of ITS in the Union.

The revised ITS Directive requires the Commission to consult the European ITS Advisory Group before adopting an implementing act establishing a working programme. Thus, this new task has been added to the Commission Decision C(2024) 1705 amending the Commission Decision 2011/C 135/03.

With a new amended Decision adopted and since the term of office of the current members of the European ITS Advisory Group has expired, the Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) has launched a call for applications to select new members of the European ITS Advisory Group.

Duly signed applications must be sent by 30 April 2024 at the latest.
