Description
Stakeholders meeting on the evaluation of the Directive 2007/59/EC on the
Certification of train drivers
Brussels, Conference Centre Albert Borschette, Room CCAB – 1C
Friday 1 July 2016, 9:00 - 13:00
In the context of the evaluation of the Directive 2007/59/EC on the certification of train drivers, the European Commission launched a public consultation on 3 March 2016, in order to collect stakeholders' views on the Directive and its application.
More specifically, the goal of the public consultation was to:
- collect views and opinions on the implementation of the Directive
- gather factual information on what works well and where is still room for improvement, and
- collect data and knowledge about the impacts of the Directive.
The consultation was open until 10 June 2016.
This stakeholders meeting aims at presenting and discussing the preliminary results of the public consultation as well as gathering additional inputs and opinions on key issues related to the Directive 2007/59/EC.
In order to register for the meeting: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/2016-TDD-evaluation
Due to the limited capacity of the room (60 persons) it might not be possible to accommodate all registration requests. It may therefore be necessary to restrict the number of delegates per organisation.
Participation is free of charge. However, the Commission cannot reimburse any costs for travel or accommodation.
We are looking forward to meet you in Brussels on 1 July.
