Rue du Midi 135-137

Multi-modal journey planning provides the European traveller with comprehensive door-to-door information allowing for well-informed travel decisions. It seamlessly integrates information for different modes, based on a strong backbone of rail and local public transport.
Currently the European Commission is conducting a study on the subject. Aim is to support the development of national and regional multimodal journey planners, and links between existing planners, with the ultimate target of enabling travellers to also use door-to-door journey planning services at European level.
This workshop will present and discuss interim results of the study and a related stakeholder consultation. It will show good examples and discuss the necessary measures with experts in the field.
