Workshop on rail noise
Brussels, 27 April 2010
The Commission organised a workshop on rail noise on 27 April 2010 which was attended by about 70 experts from the Member States, the rail sector, manufacturing industry and the European Railway Agency.
The objective of the workshop was threefold :
- Present the results of the study on Noise Differentiated Track Access Charges (NDTAC)
- Inform of the state of play of the developments at the EU level of the homologation of LL-blocks
- Review existing measures at national level
