On 19 March 2024 the European Commission will organise a stakeholder workshop via videoconference to discuss the new Working Programme of the ITS Directive for the period 2024-2028. According to Directive (EU) 2023/2661 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 November 2023 amending Directive 2010/40/EU, this new Working Programme needs to be adopted by 21 December 2024.
During the workshop, the Commission will present preliminary ideas for this new Working Programme, covering areas such as enhanced traffic management, road safety-related traffic information, cooperative ITS and multimodal access nodes.
If you are interested in participating in the workshop, please register by 12 March. The Commission reserves the right to limit participation to the meeting if needed. Accepted participants will receive a formal invitation one day before the workshop.
