There are three corridors running through the Czech network:
- Baltic - Adriatic corridor, in the eastern part of the country between the Polish border and the Austrian border via Brno.
- Orient / East - Med corridor, from the German border to the Austrian and Slovakian borders, via Prague and Brno.
- Rhine - Danube corridor, between the German border and the Slovakian border in Ostava.
SZDC is the national Czech Infrastructure manager of the network, including all main lines and the majority of the regional lines. This Czech network has a part which belongs to the Core Network Corridors (over 1,500 km).

National implementation plan
The Czechia National Implementation Plan (NIP) was delivered in 2017. It is fully compliant with the ERTMS European Deployment Plan.
According to the Czech NIP:
- The entire network will be equipped with ERTMS Level 2.
- There is a process on how Class B will be decommissioned in 3 stages, from the moment when the class A system is put into operation to when this system becomes the only one in use and, at the same time, the Class B system is put out of operation.
